OVID - Miriam Elizabeth Farnsworth, age 90, formerly of Ovid, passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital in Elmira on Friday (January 4, 2013).
The family will be present to receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday (January 8) at the Covert Funeral Home, 7199 South Main Street, Ovid. A funeral service will immediately follow, at the funeral home at 3:00 p.m., officiated by Rev. Diane Walker of the Ovid Federated Church. Prayers of committal will be held on Wednesday (January 9) at 1:00 p.m. in East Newark Cemetery.
