Claudia J. Hall, born July 9, 1945, in Bath, New York, passed away on June 12, 2026, in Penn Yan, New York. Claudia lived a life marked by warmth, devotion, hard work, and a deep love for her family and community. She will be remembered with love by all who knew her.

Claudia shared 25 wonderful years with her loving companion, James White, and was the devoted mother of Angela Law, George Hall, and Steven and Johna Hall. Her family was the center of her life, and she took great pride in the people she loved and helped raise. She was a cherished grandmother to Melissa and Tom O'Dell, Alexis Law, Stan Law II, Zachary and Kristy Woolridge, Jacob and Jeana Woolridge, Russell Hall, and Sophia Hall. She was also a proud great-grandmother to Kellie Rose, Nicholas, Payton June, Paxton Jane, Elliott, Olivia, and Lyanna. Claudia treasured her siblings and their families, including Joanne VanPelt, Linda VanSkiver, Mary Lou Laughlin, Molly Wakefield, Martha McCormick, Patsy DeSerio, Tom Margeson, and Bill Margeson, and valued the many bonds that connected her to those she loved.

She was predeceased by her parents, Claude and Foy (Hultz); her husband, George Hall; her grandson, Benjermin; and her brother, James. Though these losses were deeply felt throughout her life, Claudia carried their memories with her and continued forward with remarkable strength and resilience.

For many years, Claudia worked as a baker at the original Chat-A-Wyle Restaurant in Bath, where she became affectionately known as the "Sticky Bun Lady." Her famous sticky buns became a local favorite, and she took great pride in the work she did and the friendships she made there. Her dedication, kindness, and welcoming smile left a lasting impression on generations of customers.

Claudia and her husband, George, also devoted more than ten years to volunteering with the Bath Little League, Babe Ruth, and Midget Football youth football organizations. Through their dedication and commitment to local youth sports, they touched the lives of countless children and families, leaving a lasting legacy of service, encouragement, and community involvement.

She enjoyed all sports and music and found happiness in life's simple pleasures. Claudia especially loved flowers and gardening, finding joy in watching things grow and bloom. These passions reflected her appreciation for beauty, family, and the changing seasons.

Above all, Claudia's greatest accomplishment was the family she built and loved so deeply. Her legacy lives on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and the many friends whose lives were made better by knowing her. She will be remembered for her kindness, unwavering devotion, strong work ethic, and the love she shared so freely with others.
