Middlesex - Justin Daniel DeMitry, age 42, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2026.

Honoring Justin’s wishes, services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Justin was born on October 4, 1983, in Canandaigua. He was the owner and operator of 364 Powersports in Middlesex. Justin enjoyed hunting and target practice. He loved animals. His favorite pastimes included camping, bullshitting, and beer. Justin and his wife Katie enjoyed time spent horseback riding. Justin loved being a combined driving navigator for his daughter, Felicity, and riding dirtbikes with his son Quintin. His life centered around his family. He was the life of the party, never short of words or humorous remarks. You could always count on Justin in a time of need; he was only a phone call away. He was affectionately known by his nieces and nephews as Uncle Bawk Bawk.

Justin is survived by his wife, Katie (Tomion) DeMitry; his children who he loved and adored, Quintin DeMitry and Felicity DeMitry; father, Tom (Shelby) DeMitry; mother, Cynthia (Tim) Plowe; brother, Tyler DeMitry; step-brother, Hunter Murphy; grandmother, Donna Detro; uncles, Dave (Cathy) DeMitry, Carl Albert, Eric Albert, and Ed Albert; aunt, Cathy (Richard) Mathis; nephew, Matthew DeMitry; and niece, Josie DeMitry.

Justin was predeceased by his grandparents, Herbert and Delores DeMitry, Bruce Detro, and David Albert; uncles, Charles and Douglas DeMitry; and aunt Carol DeBellis.
