LYONS/PALMYRA - Gerald William Marr, 57, of Canal St., Palmyra, died Monday (November 5, 2012) at Thompson Hospital, Canandaigua.
A memorial service will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery, Rt. 14, Lyons.

Jerry was born in Lyons on May 8, 1955, son of Robert and Mary Nellis Marr. He had worked at Ultra Life Battery and did construction work. He was a life member of the VFW of Lyons and served in the Navy. He was an avid neon sign man.
Survived by his daughter, Patricia Marr Bassett of Lyons; grandson, Jordan Marr; sister, Patricia (Robert) Hanley of Rochester; three brothers, Robert E. (Kathy) of Lyons, John C. (Debbie) and Thomas R. (Diane), both of Newark; aunt, Anna Mae Nellis; sister-in-law, Mary Marr, nieces, nephews.
