MIDDLEBURG, Fla. | James F. Carter, 91, formerly of Auburn, died at his daughter and son-in-law's home on March 18, 2013. Mr. Carter is survived by his two daughters and sons-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond (Dottie) Meaker, of Jordan, and Mr. and Mrs. Bill (Becky) Lunn, of Middleburg, Fla.; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson. Mr. Carter was predeceased by one grandson, Peter J Lunn. Mr. Carter served in the Army from 1939 to 1945 in the Pacific conflict during World War II. He was a life member of the VFW.
