Michael Edward Church, 64, of Union Springs, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Cortland Guthrie Hospital.

Michael was born in Auburn on April 12, 1962. He was most recently employed at Walmart, where he held various positions over the years. Michael was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed hunting and watching wrestling.

Michael is survived by his children, Josh (Stacie) Church, Crystal Church (Jon), and Matthew Church (Alyssa); his mother, Ann Church; eight grandchildren; his siblings, Gary (Michele) Church, David (Chrissy) Church, Mark (Lynn) Church, Tammy Church, Tina (Wayne) Smith, April (Donald) Ford, and Melissa Marques (Eric); and many nieces and nephews.

Michael was predeceased by his father, Edward Church, and his brother, Dale Church.

Calling hours will be held Friday, June 12, 2026, from 4-7 PM in White Chapel Funeral Home Inc., 197 South St., Auburn. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 13th, at 11 AM in St. Joseph's Cemetery (Gate 5).
