On Sunday evening, a Waterloo man was arrested by sheriff’s deputies following a traffic stop in the Town of Waterloo.

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office took 54-year-old Jason Osgood into custody at approximately 9:42 p.m. Deputies identified Osgood as the operator of the vehicle and discovered that his driving privileges had been revoked due to a prior driving while intoxicated conviction. During the course of the roadside investigation, deputies also discovered that Osgood was actively violating a Class A order of protection by allegedly being in the vehicle with a protected party while a full stay-away order was active.

Osgood was charged with one count of Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree, a class A misdemeanor, and one count of Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the Second Degree, a misdemeanor.

He was transported to the Law Enforcement Center in Romulus to await Centralized Arraignment Part court.
