On Sunday, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Town of Rose man following an investigation into a reported family dispute on Brick School House Road.

Lee Wollek, 38, was charged with Criminal Impersonation in the Second Degree. The charge stems from a domestic incident during which Wollek allegedly attempted to call a victim more than 30 times from a cell phone while impersonating a police officer.

Wollek was located and arrested in the Town of Rose and transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office for processing.

He was subsequently held at the Wayne County Jail for centralized arraignment and will answer the charges in Town of Rose Court at a later date.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
