On Saturday, Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a Virginia Beach man following a 911 call reporting a driver slumped over the steering wheel of a running pickup truck.

Deputies responded to the parking lot at 250 North Bloomfield Road in the City of Canandaigua at approximately 11:12 p.m. Upon arrival, they located 29-year-old Hunter Pylman inside the vehicle. Investigators determined that Pylman was operating the truck and suspected he was intoxicated. Following a series of standardized field sobriety tests, he was taken into custody.

Pylman later submitted a breath sample, which revealed a blood alcohol concentration over three times the legal limit. He was charged with felony Driving While Intoxicated and Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated.

Pylman was transported to the Ontario County Jail to await arraignment.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
