A Victor woman was issued tickets following a traffic stop in the Village of Penn Yan.

Penn Yan Police say 40-year-old Lazena Ponder was stopped on Liberty Street after officers observed her driving with a suspended New York State driver’s license.

Ponder was cited for aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree and having an unsecured plate.

She was issued appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in Penn Yan Village Court at a later date.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
