On Thursday, the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested a Romulus woman following a traffic stop for speeding.

Rebecca Pezzulo, 63, was arrested on July 9 and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Driving While Intoxicated Per Se, both misdemeanors. She was also issued a traffic ticket for Speed in Zone.

During the traffic stop, officers conducted an investigation and determined that Pezzulo was allegedly operating her motor vehicle while intoxicated. Following her arrest, Pezzulo was processed and released on appearance tickets.

She is scheduled to answer the charges in the Town of Seneca Falls Court at a later date.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
