On Tuesday, deputies of the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 36-year-old Town of Sodus woman following an investigation into a larceny that occurred at a business in the Village of Clyde on June 30th.
Authorities arrested Kayla Harris for Petit Larceny. The charge stems from an incident at Olivia’s Wine & Spirits, located at 30 S. Park Street, where Harris allegedly entered the store and was captured on camera footage concealing a bottle of Maker’s Mark liquor in her clothing. Harris is then accused of exiting the store without rendering payment.
Harris was located in the Village of Clyde, taken to the Wayne County Jail for processing, and subsequently released with an appearance ticket.
She is scheduled to appear in Sodus Town Court on August 8th at 10:00 a.m. to answer the charge.
