On Monday, deputies of the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 33-year-old Town of Lyons man after attempting to serve civil papers to an unrelated party at a residence on Holley Street.
Authorities arrested Quevell Strong after he allegedly provided a false name to deputies while knowing he had pending charges from an incident that occurred in June 2026. After misrepresenting his identity to patrol deputies who were familiar with him, Strong allegedly slammed the door on the officers, initially preventing his apprehension. Strong later exited his residence and was taken into custody.
Strong was transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office and processed at the Wayne County Jail. He is charged with False Personation, Obstructing Governmental Administration in the Second Degree, and Resisting Arrest.
Strong was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to return to Lyons Town Court on July 28th at 8:30 a.m. to answer the charges.
