Lyons Man Arrested Following Cinder Block Incident

On Monday, deputies of the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 33-year-old Town of Lyons man following an investigation into a disturbance that occurred in June.

Authorities arrested Quevell Strong for Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree. The charge stems from an incident on Spencer Street in the Town of Lyons on June 11th at approximately 3:50 p.m. It is alleged that Strong threw a cinder block at a neighbor’s window, causing damage that exceeded a value of $250.

Strong was transported to the Wayne County Jail, where he was held for arraignment in the Centralized Arraignment Part Court.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
