On Thursday, officers with the Canandaigua Police Department arrested a resident following a trespassing complaint at Woodlawn Cemetery.

Michael Orbino, 50, was charged with third-degree criminal trespass. According to authorities, cemetery employees observed Orbino on the property despite him being previously advised that he was no longer allowed on the premises.

Orbino was taken into custody and later released on an appearance ticket.

He is scheduled to answer the charge in the City of Canandaigua Court at a later date.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
