On Thursday, Seneca County Sheriff’s Investigators arrested a Romulus man following a disturbance inside the Seneca County Jail.
Edward Carter, 30, was charged with second-degree assault and obstructing governmental administration.
The arrest stems from an incident that occurred onΒ July 22. Authorities allege that while confined in the correctional facility, Carter engaged in a disturbance and refused to comply with lawful orders from corrections officers. During the altercation, a corrections officer suffering an arm injury as a result of Carter’s actions.
Carter was held to await appearance in Seneca County Central Arraignment Part Court to answer the charges.
