A Palmyra man is facing drunken driving charges after a civilian reported an erratic driver in Wayne County.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office says deputies arrested 22-year-old Maxwell Lucieer just after 11:15 Sunday night following a traffic complaint in the Town of Arcadia.
Investigators say Lucieer was allegedly swerving across the roadway and unable to maintain his lane. Deputies say he failed standardized field sobriety tests and later provided a breath sample that measured a blood alcohol content of 0.16% — twice New York’s legal limit.
Lucieer was charged with driving while intoxicated and failure to maintain his lane. He was issued appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in Arcadia Town Court at a later date.
