Andrew Crego, 38, of Rochester, was charged with driving while intoxicated by Ontario County deputies on an unspecified day.

The arrest stemmed from a hit-and-run crash investigation. Crego was allegedly operating a blue 1993 Chevy Cavliere on a public highway in an intoxicated condition when he crashed into the rear of a 2017 black Honda Odyssey, causing damage, and then allegedly fled the scene. No one was injured in the crash. He was also charged with unlicensed operator, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle while intoxicated, open container, following too closely, and leaving the scene of a property damage accident.

Crego is due to appear in Farmington Town Court at a later date.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
