On Thursday, a Rochester man was arrested by the Seneca Falls Police Department following multiple reports of stalking behavior in Seneca Falls and Waterloo.

Divine Bliss, 28, of Rochester, was taken into custody at approximately 2:33 p.m. Police launched an investigation after receiving several complaints that Bliss was actively following local women through both towns.

Investigators determined that Bliss had been following the women with no legitimate purpose, a behavior that allegedly caused the victims significant alarm and concern for their safety.

Bliss has been charged with harassment in the first degree, which is a class B misdemeanor, and harassment in the second degree, a violation.

Following his arrest, Bliss was processed at the Seneca Falls Police Department and subsequently transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.

Authorities confirmed that an order of protection has been requested on behalf of the victims.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
