Pennsylvania Man Arrested on Multiple Charges in Cayuga County

A Pennsylvania man was arrested early Monday morning following an incident in Cayuga County.

The Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office reports that James Cowher, of Coburn, Pennsylvania, was taken into custody at approximately 12:35 a.m. on Monday. Cowher faces multiple charges from two related incidents, including two counts of Acting in a Manner Injurious to a Child Less Than 17, Menacing in the Third Degree, Driving While Ability Impaired by Alcohol, and Consumption or Possession of Alcohol or Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle on a Highway.

He is scheduled to answer the charges in both Cato Town Court and Conquest Town Court.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
