Penn Yan Man Arrested Following Physical Domestic

On Monday, Yates County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a Penn Yan man on an arrest warrant following a physical domestic altercation that allegedly occurred on July 12 in the Town of Jerusalem.

Kenneth Martin, 23, turned himself in at the Yates County Public Safety Building on 227 Main Street in Penn Yan. He was charged with Assault in the Third Degree and Criminal Obstruction of Breathing.

Martin was held for Centralized Arraignment Part court.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
