On Thursday, the Macedon Police Department arrested a Penfield woman following a shoplifting investigation.

Amanda Jackson was taken into custody and charged with Petit Larceny. It is alleged that Jackson stole merchandise from a local business in the Town of Macedon.

Following her arrest, Jackson was issued an appearance ticket and released. She is scheduled to appear in the Town of Macedon Court at a later date to answer the charge.
