Lyons Man Arrested Following Disturbance Investigation

On Friday, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested Christopher Cartwright, 57, of Lyons, following an investigation into a disturbance.

Cartwright was charged with Harassment in the Second Degree, attempted Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree, and Unlawful Imprisonment in the Second Degree. It is alleged that Cartwright forcibly held a victim hostage against their will and attempted to grab her phone while she was attempting to contact emergency services.

Cartwright was transported to the Wayne County Jail to await Centralized Arraignment Part court.

 

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
