Palmyra Man Accused of Driving Drunk With Two Kids in Car

On Sunday, deputies with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Palmyra man following a domestic incident in the Village of Palmyra.

Dean Wright Jr., 37, was charged with two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Driving While Intoxicated. It is alleged that Wright drove two children to their mother’s residence while under the influence of alcohol.

Following the incident, Wright was transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office for processing. He was subsequently taken to the Wayne County Jail to await CAP arraignment.
