On Thursday, a Seneca Falls woman was arrested by the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department following the execution of a bench warrant.

Shaniqura Bailey, 33,  was taken into custody at approximately 6:54 p.m. The arrest stems from a bench warrant issued by the Seneca Falls Town Court after Bailey allegedly failed to appear in court regarding the original charge of petit larceny.

Following her arrest, Bailey was transported to the Seneca County Jail to await arraignment.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
