A Town of Ontario man is facing multiple felony charges following an investigation into illegal firearms and suspected drug activity, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities say the Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit was notified on the afternoon of April 15 by Wayne County Probation that Lance Plaza-Pierce, who is currently on probation, was allegedly in possession of multiple illegal firearms and selling drugs from his residence on Cortland Drive.

Investigators obtained a search warrant for the home. During the search, deputies reported finding four firearms, high-capacity magazines, multiple calibers of ammunition, suspected narcotics, and drug paraphernalia.

Plaza-Pierce was arrested on April 15 and taken to the Wayne County Jail, where he was held on a probation violation.

On Friday, he was additionally charged with four counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree.

The investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges are pending.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
