A Town of Ontario man was arrested by Wayne County Sheriff’s deputies following an investigation into a traffic stop.

Charles Downing, 69, of Ontario, was taken into custody on June 16 at approximately 10:50 a.m. on Oswego Street in the Village of Wolcott. It is alleged that during a prior traffic stop on January 27, Downing was found to be in possession of crack cocaine.
