On Friday, Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a North Carolina woman in the Town of Romulus on an active arrest warrant.

Lesley Howe, 50, of Zebulon, North Carolina, was taken into custody after failing to appear in court regarding her original charges. According to authorities, Howe had been previously arrested on multiple vehicle and traffic law offenses and assigned a June court date in the Town of Ovid Court.

When Howe failed to appear for her scheduled court date, an arrest warrant was issued.

Following her arrest, Howe was processed and transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment in the Seneca County Centralized Arraignment Court.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
