Niles Man Arrested Following Menacing Incident

On Sunday, a Niles man was arrested by the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office following a reported incident.

Deputies arrested 39-year-old Kenneth Young III of New Hope Road. He was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon with intent to use, second-degree menacing with a weapon, and third-degree menacing.

Young is accused of using a weapon to threaten and menace individuals during the incident.

He was processed by the sheriff’s office and held for arraignment in Niles Town Court.

 

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
