A Moravia woman was arrested by Cayuga County Sheriff’s Deputies following a domestic incident.

Destiny Soutar, 24, of Moravia, was taken into custody last Friday and charged with one count of Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree. According to Sheriff Brian Schenck, deputies responded to a report of a domestic dispute, where an investigation established probable cause for the arrest.

Soutar is accused of damaging property valued at $40 during the incident.

She was taken to the Public Safety Building for processing and subsequently issued an appearance ticket.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
