On Tuesday evening, a Farmington man was arrested by Ontario County Deputies following a physical domestic dispute.

Brandon Wolfe, 23, was taken into custody without incident after deputies responded to a residence following an investigation into multiple 911 calls regarding family trouble.

According to authorities, Wolfe allegedly engaged in a physical altercation with his brother. During the dispute, Wolfe is accused of placing his hand around his brother’s throat in an attempt to limit or stop his breathing. He also allegedly bit his brother’s arm with enough force to break the skin, causing lacerations and contusions. Furthermore, when the victim and their mother attempted to call 911, Wolfe allegedly physically prevented them from doing so, forcing the mother to flee the home and seek assistance from a neighbor.

Wolfe was charged with Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree, Assault in the Third Degree, and Criminal Obstruction of Breathing.

He was transported to the Ontario County Jail for centralized arraignment and is scheduled to appear in Farmington Town Court at a later date.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
