On Thursday, Geneva Police arrested a local man following a domestic incident on Exchange Street.

Michael Walker-Cleary, 19, of Geneva, was taken into custody on charges of Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree and Aggravated Harassment in the Second Degree.

The arrest followed a complaint alleging that during a domestic dispute, Walker-Cleary threw a hammer through a window of another person’s residence. He is also accused of sending text messages threatening harm to another individual.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
