On Saturday, deputies responded to the area of County Road 16 and Station House Drive in the Town of Canandaigua for a reported single-vehicle personal injury crash.

An investigation revealed that 49-year-old Jamie Fox of Canandaigua exited the roadway on the west shoulder, striking a mailbox and a culvert before ultimately coming to a rest after striking a tree.

Fox sustained multiple lacerations to her face and was transported to FF Thompson Hospital for medical care. Deputies determined that Fox was allegedly operating her vehicle in an intoxicated condition and she was placed into custody for driving while intoxicated.

Fox was issued multiple traffic citations and is scheduled to appear in Canandaigua Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
