On Tuesday, an Auburn man was arrested by Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies on an outstanding family court warrant.

Shawn Ross, 46, turned himself over to law enforcement at the Seneca County Law Enforcement Center. He was charged with violating the New York State Family Court Act for failing to appear in court regarding the original charges.

At last word, Ross was being held at the jail to await arraignment in Seneca County Court.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
