On Saturday, a Canandaigua teenager was arrested following an investigation into a reported order of protection violation that originated in the City of Canandaigua.
Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 18-year-old Luke Schaefer at approximately 4:30 a.m. at an address on Kensington Court in the Town of Victor. Investigators determined that Schaefer picked up a juvenile female from her home address in Canandaigua and drove her to Victor, violating an active stay-away order of protection in place against him.
Schaefer was placed under arrest and charged with criminal contempt in the second degree.
He was transported to the Ontario County Jail for pre-arraignment detention. Additional charges from the Canandaigua Police Department are pending.
