Auburn Man Facing Felony Domestic Incident Charge in Tyre

On Wednesday, deputies with the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office arrested an Auburn man following a reported domestic incident in the Town of Tyre.

Juan Atilano, 36, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, a class E felony. Investigators allege that Atilano intentionally damaged a cellphone that did not belong to him during the early morning incident.

Atilano was transported to the Seneca County Law Enforcement Center for processing. He was subsequently turned over to the custody of the Seneca County Corrections Division to await arraignment at the Centralized Arraignment Part Court.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
