On Thursday, Auburn police officers responded to a residence on Janet Street following a domestic violence complaint reported by multiple neighbors. Witnesses stated that two men were involved in a physical and verbal alteration in the front yard.

Following an investigation, officers determined that David Dymock allegedly threatened his boyfriend with a pair of pliers. He is also accused of attempting to damage a vehicle window before his boyfriend managed to forcibly remove the tools from his grasp.

Dymock, 39, of Auburn, was arrested and transported to Auburn Police Department headquarters for processing. He was later arraigned at the Cayuga County Jail.

Dymock has been charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree, a class D felony, and Menacing in the Second Degree, a class A misdemeanor.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
