Waterloo Carp Derby Crowns Cooper Green as Champion

The results are in from the 2026 Waterloo Carp Derby, with Cooper Green landing the largest carp of the competition to claim first place.

According to the derby leaderboard, Green’s catch weighed in at 35.70 pounds, edging out Luke Davis, who finished second with a 34.62-pound carp. Shane O’Hora rounded out the top three with a fish weighing 31.66 pounds.

Jackson Vandemortel placed fourth with a 30.84-pound carp, followed by William Law in fifth at 28.84 pounds. Jack Queiroz finished sixth with a 27.44-pound catch, while Tyler Minnier took seventh place with a 26-pound carp. William Law also appeared on the leaderboard with a second qualifying catch weighing 25.84 pounds.

In the youth division, Hannah Sullivan recorded a 1-pound catch.
