On Saturday evening, a Canandaigua woman was taken into custody following a traffic stop in the Village of Shortsville.
Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Victoria Saylor, 39, at approximately 6:00 p.m. at the Farmington Town Court. Investigators report that deputies observed Saylor operating a vehicle in Shortsville and initiated a traffic stop, leading to her arrest on multiple outstanding bench warrants out of the Town of Farmington. The warrants were issued after she failed to appear in court regarding the original charges.
Saylor was transported to the Ontario County Jail, where she was held awaiting centralized arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
