Man Arrested For DWI In Palmyra

On Friday night, a Town of Williamson man was arrested by Wayne County Sheriff’s Deputies following a traffic stop in the Village of Palmyra.

Deputies arrested 42-year-old Michael Pannoni at approximately 11:40 p.m. It is alleged that Pannoni was initially pulled over for making an improper left turn onto a two-way roadway. Upon further investigation, deputies determined that he was operating the vehicle in an intoxicated condition.

Pannoni was transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, where he voluntarily submitted to a chemical breath test. The test revealed his blood alcohol content to be .14%.

Pannoni was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Driving While Intoxicated with a Blood Alcohol Content of .08% or Higher, and making an improper left turn. He was released on appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in the Village of Palmyra Court at a later date to answer the charges.
