Three Seriously Injured in Canandaigua Stabbing; Police Seeking Witnesses

Three men were seriously injured in an early Sunday morning stabbing following a physical altercation in the City of Canandaigua.

According to the Canandaigua Police Department, officers responded to the area of Lakeshore Drive at approximately 2:42 a.m. Sunday for a report of an assault.  The preliminary investigation determined that three men became involved in a physical fight, during which one of the individuals allegedly used a knife. All three men suffered lacerations and/or stab wounds. They were transported to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

Police said the investigation remains ongoing and have not released the identities of those involved or announced any charges.
