The Phelps Town Board will hold a special hearing on Monday regarding a property that has been deemed unfit for human occupancy.
The hearing is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at the Phelps Town Court and Meeting Facility, 1331 State Route 88.
The hearing concerns a structure located at 1878 Falkey Road in the Town of Phelps.
According to the town, the purpose of the hearing is to give the property owner an opportunity to present testimony, evidence, statements or other information for the Town Board to consider before taking any further action in the case.
The hearing is open to the public, but public comment will not be permitted. Town officials said the proceedings are intended to be between the Town and its representatives and the property owner and the owner’s legal representatives.
