The Seneca Lake Pure Waters Association will launch its annual virtual auction on July 20 to raise money for programs that help protect and improve the health of Seneca Lake.
Association officials said proceeds from the auction support a variety of initiatives, including sediment and nutrient pollution reduction projects, water quality monitoring and environmental testing throughout the lake.
The online auction will feature a variety of donated items and experiences from around the Finger Lakes region, including wine tastings, a vintage wine press, photography sessions and other unique offerings.
Bidding will remain open through the Seneca Lake Summer Soirée on July 29.
The association is also seeking additional donations for the auction. Businesses and individuals interested in contributing items or experiences can contact the organization at [email protected].
