Car and Bike Collide in Fayette

The Seneca County Sheriff's Office reports, on 10/22/2012 at 2:30PM Deputies responded to a Car vs. Bicycle motor vehicle accident on W. River Rd. in the Town of Fayette. A vehicle being operated by Mary M. Sindoni, age 43 of 2815 Miller Rd. Lot D, Waterloo, NY was Westbound when she attempted to avoid a bicycle being operated by Michael F. Elliot, age 59 of 720 Kennedy Rd., Romulus, NY. Elliot was also Westbound when he entered in to the path of Sindoni’s vehicle after being chased by a dog. Sindoni's vehicle struck the Southside ditch and spun causing her rear bumper to strike Elliot's bicycle. Sindoni w as transported to Geneva General Hospital with rib pain by North Seneca Ambulance. A passenger in her vehicle, Angelina S. Sindoni, age 18, of the same address, was also transported to Geneva General Hospital with a complaint of head pain. The bicyclist, Elliot, was treated and released at the scene for multiple abrasions. The vehicle Sindoni was towed from the scene. The Sheriff's Office was assisted at the scene by the Waterloo Fire Department.
