Syracuse Man Arrested on Multiple Assault Charges in Cayuga County

A Syracuse man faces numerous charges following an arrest by the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office.

On Saturday, Nareik Lassiter, 23, was arrested for an incident that led to multiple charges including Aggravated Family Offense and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree with a previous conviction.

Lassiter is also accused of Menacing in the Third Degree, Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree for property damage exceeding $250, Assault in the Third Degree, and Acting in a Manner Injurious to a Child Less Than 17.

All charges are being handled through the Sennett Town Court.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
