The Keuka College women’s basketball team has earned national recognition for its success in the classroom, receiving a spot on the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Academic Team Honor Roll for the first time in program history.
The honor, announced Tuesday, comes on the heels of one of the program’s most successful seasons on the court. The Wolves recorded the most wins in a season since joining the Empire 8 Conference while also posting a 3.26 cumulative team grade point average during the 2025-26 academic year.
First-year student-athlete Alyssa Hogle of Auburn led the team academically with a perfect 4.0 GPA, while sophomore guard Lillian Mullen of Canisteo finished close behind with a 3.96 GPA.
Keuka College was one of seven Empire 8 institutions recognized by the WBCA. While the organization annually ranks the top 25 team GPAs in each NCAA division, programs with a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher are included in the Academic Honor Roll’s Special Mention category.
The recognition marks the first time the Keuka College women’s basketball program has received a national academic honor from the WBCA, highlighting the team’s achievements both on the court and in the classroom.
