Police are asking for the public’s help investigating the intentional killing of four young kittens in the Town of Perry.
The Perry Police Department said the kittens were found Tuesday along Simmons Road between Route 20A and Page Road. Investigators believe the incident occurred between 2 and 2:45 p.m.
Police said the animals had marks consistent with intentional trauma and were not struck by a vehicle.
Anyone who traveled along Simmons Road during that period or lives in the area is asked to review home security or dashboard camera footage. Investigators also want to hear from anyone who noticed unusual vehicles parked or stopped along that section of the road.
