Police: Utica Walmart Worker Stole $30K From Registers

A Walmart employee is accused of stealing approximately $30,000 from cash registers at a store in Utica.

Utica Police responded to the North Utica Walmart on July 20 to investigate a reported theft. Investigators said store employees witnessed 21-year-old Jacques Guy of Yorkville allegedly removing bundles of $50 and $100 bills from registers at the end of his shifts. Police said approximately $30,000 was taken in total.

Guy was arrested and charged with third-degree grand larceny, a felony.
