On Thursday, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Williamson woman following a lengthy narcotics investigation and a subsequent search warrant execution.
Amanda Steurrys was arrested on July 16, in connection with an ongoing investigation into the sale of narcotics operating out of 114 West Main Street in the Town of Sodus. Authorities originally executed a search warrant at the location on October 10, 2024, detaining multiple individuals for interviews. While at the Sheriff’s Office, Steurrys was allegedly found to have suspected crack cocaine concealed in her bra. Deputies seized the substance, and a subsequent laboratory analysis confirmed the material was crack cocaine weighing 22.199 grams.
Steurrys faces charges of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree for possession of one-half ounce or more, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree with intent to sell, and Tampering with Physical Evidence.
She was transported to the Wayne County Jail to await CAP arraignment.
