On Thursday, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Rochester woman and a juvenile following a lengthy investigation into a 2024 home invasion.
Deputies arrested 37-year-old Giselle Gonzalez-Vasquez following the probe into the incident, which occurred on October 4, 2024, on State Route 31F in the Town of Macedon. Gonzalez-Vasquez was charged with three counts of Hindering Prosecution in the Second Degree. She was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Wayne County Court at a later date.
The juvenile involved faces charges of one count each of Robbery in the First Degree, Burglary in the First Degree, Assault in the First Degree, and Kidnapping in the Second Degree. The juvenile was arraigned in Wayne County Court and placed in a secure holding facility. Authorities noted that the investigation remains ongoing.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office was assisted throughout the investigation by the New York State Police, the Rochester Police Department, the Macedon Police Department, and the Wayne County District Attorney’s Office.
